SRE- YMAC'19
Conference Services Committee
Was more than honoured to be part of SRE-YMAC'19 organising committee. Throughout these planning process and executing of the conference, I indeed forged valuable friendships and get to interact with delegates from different ASEAN member states. Besides this, working with other committee members was an enriching experience as everybody was on the ball and helped each other whenever possible.

LEAP CAMP
LEAP camp was definitely one of the memorable experience I with SPOT. LEAP camp taught me values to become a better individual and leader. Some of the games such as "River Crossing" taught me to always work as a team and that communication is key. The hiking during the camp also taught me to never give up easily. The 7 habits workshop was really useful as well and were applicable in real-life situations. Despite the fact that the whole camp was tough, I still forged friendships and understood myself better as a person as well.

SCHOLARSHIP WORKSHOP
Attended the scholarship and personal statement workshop conducted by SPOT. I learnt a lot about what kind of questions will be asked in a typical scholarship interview. On top of this, I realised that one has to make sure that he/she stands out among those that probably have the same score and qualifications as you. The way you carry yourself makes a difference. As to how to write a personal statement, I was taught that one has to create a story within and not just write a summary of what you have achieved. You have to show your personality and your values in life as well.
