OVERSEAS SOCIAL INNOVATION PROJECT

My 12 days trip to Malang, Indonesia for an overseas social innovation project was indeed a valuable experience.

 

Went through Design Thinking and had to solve the problem that we have identified with a Wood manufacturer. The workers there have poor working conditions and we have to use Design Thinking Tools to help improve it. 

Therefore, we came up with a prototype as shown in the pictures above and we gained valuable feedback from the business owner itself. After which, there was a gallery walk at the end of our journey and a follow-up presentation. 


Overall, it was truly a one of a kind experience, the students were very helpful and friendly and even brought us around Malang to shop and eat.
